Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
In 1981, Jay joined Warner Communications Inc, in their Atari Video Game division. At Atari, he held positions in direct account management, as well as team manager. Additionally, he worked for the marketing, sales and distribution arms of Atari. In 1989, Jay co-founded Alliance Distributors. At that time, Alliance was one of the largest regional video game software and hardware distributors. He served as President, until December of 1997, when Alliance agreed to be acquired by Take Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO). From 1998 until 2003, Jay was employed by Track Data Corporation (TRAC.PK), where he served as a director and Executive Vice President. In 2003, he re-entered the video game business by re-starting Alliance Distributors and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer. In 2004, Alliance Distributors Holding Inc. (now Alliance Media Holdings) acquired the company. Since that time, Jay has served as its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
